When is the Best Time to Build a Pool?
Any time of the year is a good time to build a pool! It really depends on your goals, and how soon you’d like to be swimming.
Construction on our end can occur in as little as three weeks. The true “start to finish” time, however, is largely dependent on the complexity of your project and the schedule of other involved contractors (landscapers, deck and patio builders, etc.). Design Pool & Spa maintains solid contact and working relationships with these other trade professionals so that together we can best meet your timeline expectations.
Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall = Great Pool Building
A temporary tent structure and portable heaters allowed us to complete this winter renovation in Rochester, NY.
Most people are surprised to hear that the pool building process continues year round in Upstate New York. Concrete and other cementitious materials may require above-freezing temperatures, but much of the excavation and other work continue regardless of the temperature. And, no matter the time of year, we take the necessary precautions to ensure maximum yard protection and safety during any down time when the project may be halted
Design Pool & Spa works closely with its customers to create a pool building schedule that suits their needs. Our goal is make the construction process as smooth as possible in any season.
